MISSION
Good-Natured Landscapes believes true beauty in a
landscape comes not only from landscape's appearance and
functionality, but also from the benefits the landscape provides to
all things that share the land. Our mission is to design
landscapes with true beauty.
DENISE SANDOVAL
Denise is the business owner & designer for Good-Natured
Landscapes LLC since 2005. She has a degree (2003) in Ornamental
Horticulture/ Landscape Design and will be receiving her Naturalist
Certificate soon. Denise has many years hands-on
experience with her own native plant landscape, rain garden, rain
barrels, permeable paths, patios, decks, pergolas, recycling
materials, compost bins, organic vegetable garden, plus past work
experience at a native plant nursery and maintenance company. With
over 10 years of experience gardening with native plants plus
volunteer restoration work, Denise understands their long term growth habit and
behavior, their ecological role and importance, and how to
successfully integrate them into a "designed" landscape.
She continues her education through self-study and ongoing courses
in design, ecology, native flora and fauna, and sustainable
landscaping.
