WHAT IS A RAIN GARDEN?

A rain garden is a specialized garden that captures run-off from your property (usually from a downspout or sump pump output) and slowly soaks it into the ground (typically in a few hours), rather than letting the water flow into a storm drain.  A rain garden will help filter out pollutants, absorb excess water that could cause flooding and erosion, and replenish our ground water supply.   It's a simple solution that you can do to help conserve and protect water - a vital resource. Good-Natured Landscapes LLC can design a rain garden for you that will not only look beautiful, but will blend in with the rest of your landscape, have the right combination of plants for your site even when it's not raining, and in the right location. We can make a difference, one yard at a time!
